As a lead data analyst in HR Control, you'll have the opportunity to work with senior managers and control groups across the organization providing insights into various aspects of the HR function at Progressive. You'll provide support for company-wide compensation and budgeting, work with Corporate Legal to provide support for legal actions against Progressive, work with HR Systems on large scale projects to ensure data quality and accuracy. You’ll also collaborate with other team members to find process efficiencies and improvements across Corporate HR. You will use your skills in SQL, SAS, Tableau, etc., to build new and advance existing reports. Remote work allowed.
Must-have qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of five years of analytical work experience
- Instead of a quantitative degree, a bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of seven years of analytical work experience
- Instead of a degree, a minimum of eight years of analytical work experience
Preferred skills
- In-depth knowledge of control and financial functions and responsibilities
- Proven ability to develop predictive data, aptitude for learning and high proficiency in using data analysis reporting tools such as Tableau
- Advanced proficiency in SAS, SQL, R, and/or Python, including the ability create and troubleshoot basic programming
- Excellent communication skills, including visualization of quantitative information for non-technical audiences including senior leaders
- Intermediate computer skills including MS Office – such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint – with advanced knowledge of spreadsheet functionality, including v-look-up, pivot tables, charts, graphing and macros
Compensation
- $82,400-$109,900/year
- Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
