Job Description

Position Overview 

The Training Specialist, Administrative Assistant Program will assist with a wide range of activities that ensure the accuracy and organization of Invenergy’s training program and training team. Responsibilities include working with the Training Manager to schedule trainings, assist in Intelex tracking and company LMS system. Additionally, this position will collaborate with the Operations Support Manager to facilitate the technician progression program as well as complete various accounting and organizational functions as it related to training. Invenergy seeks a team player willing to use their analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills to help with department growth.

Responsibilities 

  • Schedule in-person, online, and remote trainings with both 3rd parties and Invenergy Training Specialists    
  • Update training records in multiple systems as directed by management  
  • Facilitate the Tech Progression Program 
  • Navigate and perform basic troubleshooting in LMS and EHSQ applications for the fleet 
  • Review and approve/deny OJT items for both Tech Progression and QEW 
  • Assist with new hire onboarding functions 
  • Maintain organized digital records and training sign offs 
  • Aid with opportunities to improve operational efficiency 
  • Prepare periodic training reports 
  • Create requisitions, purchase orders and other basic accounting functions 
  • Assist in training new management and technicians on training policies and programs 
  • Work with Training Specialists to purchase, ship, organize, and track training gear   
  • Act as a subject matter expert and overall fleet contact person as it pertains to the Tech Progression and QEW programs  

 

Required Skills 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel and to work under minimal supervision 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Able to travel 10% to establish and maintain ongoing relationship with Fleet personnel and meet with other members of the Operations Support team  
  • Proficiency with company utilized LMS and EHSQ applications 
  • Strong analytical, logical and problem-solving skills.
