About the Role:

We are looking for a highly organized and self-motivated, Contract Specialist to join our growing payor relations team. You will be responsible for supporting contracting efforts with health plans and government programs. 

We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas at this time.

What you would be doing at Expressable

  • Manage contracting efforts through entire procurement process (end to end) to ensure contracts are administered and implemented accurately
  • Ensure contracts are completed on time and to high quality standards, meeting weekly deadlines.
  • Manage day-to-day contract administration issues for agreements; including operations, contract implementation, tracking against targets and provider education as needed.
  • Collaborate with the contracting leadership team to ensure best practices in negotiations to achieve aggressive reimbursement rate and overall targets are met 
  • Identify strategic opportunities within local markets (i.e., network expansion opportunities, reimbursement rates, etc.)
  • Collaborate and work closely with other members of the Payor Relations team as well as with our Credentialing team and other internal stakeholders to complete contracts.
  • Work with the Senior Director to identify and implement additional quality incentive contract opportunities
  • Serve as a point person for contracting reporting

What you bring to Expressable

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent direct experience
  • At least 2 years of health plan and government program contracting experience to include reviewing and completing contracting documents such as Provider Service Agreements, Network Request Forms, Provider Surveys, ADA Forms, Contract Demographic Forms, Participation Forms, etc.
  • Experience participating in the credentialing process.
  • Experience with and competency in Google Suite and demonstrated ability to independently master new technologies
  • Ability to collaborate with a fully remote team
